So we are in the process of building a new studio for the band.  It was supposed to be a two month operation.  Now here we are 6 months later, up to our ears in dust, concrete and wood chips.  It turned out to be a much bigger undertaking than we all thought, but we’re really going nuts on this place.  Apparently making a soundproof room in your house so Mary Lou doesn’t hear your band rehearsing and walk over from her place with her wretched old cats and start complaining about “kids these days and their rock and roll”  and then continues to tell you that she doesn’t like the fact that your car is parked in front of YOUR OWN HOUSE because she gets neck pain when she has to look over her left shoulder while pulling out of the driveway is a little bit of a pain in the ass, but worth the effort.

But I’m not bitter.  I love it.
